# What changed, and when

Newest first. Each line is a real change that is live. Nothing here is planned or promised.

## 28 September 2026

- Back for everyone: the wardrobe, the post box, the treasure hunt, the rhythm round, class events and expeditions, each played from start to finish on phones upright and sideways. The rhythm round now counts a tap a little before or after the beat and lights up on every beat, and pays gems for three rounds a day. A hat and a crown now swap, since both go on the head.
- Fixed: Rhyme Reef in Wordwood and Habitat Hollow in Fieldlab had no bridge and could not be reached. Each has one now, and every island was walked to check.
- Fixed: the posts on Rhyme Reef and Story Stones said "undefined" above them and after a right answer. They now show their own sign.
- Fixed: in Year 6, the question "which one is a multiple" could freeze the game when the fact had a 1 in it.
- Fixed: a gift from a friend could be paid more than once.
- Fixed: a menu choice now opens even while a prompt, like the week's goal, is on screen.
- A teacher can put the class's own unit on an island: its dates, three lines of inquiry, the maths it teaches, questions for each line and *I can* statements. The island follows the week's line, Numberground mixes in the unit's maths, the question post asks the week's questions, and the end of a session asks the week's *I can* statements.
- New maths: times and divide by 10 and 100, bigger numbers times one digit, and division with a remainder in a story.
- The teacher sees each seat's player tag, so a lost tag can be given back. The tag also shows at the end of each session and in the passport.
- A wider view of the island on a phone held upright.

## 27 September 2026, evening

- The game rebuilt for phones held upright: the page is never turned, and every screen has its own upright and sideways layout.
- A chosen set of sounds in place of the old mix.
- The plots in the realms are gone. Everything built on them moved to My Island, nothing lost.
- Resting while the game is rebuilt, to come back one at a time: the wardrobe, the post box, the treasure hunt, the rhythm round, class events and expeditions. What a child earned with them is kept.
- Fixed: the game could reload itself after a few sails; the build button showed at question posts; the teacher's starting place was used only once.
- Spelling by child: a teacher can put seats in spelling groups, each with a phonics phase, a year list or their own words, and a parent can pick a child's list.

## 27 September 2026

- Word generators for plurals, the past tense and -ing, and spelling rules by year with dictation at the desk.
- Inside the house: a room behind every door, with furniture and a bed that ends the day.
- The gem shop, island news on the signpost, pets that react.
- A third unit on How the world works: Light and shadow.
- Easy-read font and colour-safe settings in the menu.
- Gifts between friends by tag, four more class projects (a castle, a farm, a zoo, a rainforest station), and works that do something when used.
- Seasons on the calendar, day and night on the clock, weather by realm, the Keeper's story in twelve weekly chapters, the personal-best week.
- The Teacher Console with a live class map.
- The class build with the vote and plaques, friend worlds by code, My Island with the ground brush and seven kits.
- The economy: a material for every right answer, crafted goods, potions, the dock trade.
- Grammar in Wordwood, thirty-five sets with a week-by-week programme per year.
- Phonics phases 2 to 5 and the year spelling lists at the desk, with the teacher's class list.
- Offline play: the installed app opens with no signal.
- Tasks of the day and week, badges and the passport, the rapid round, visiting a friend's island.

## 26 September 2026

- The whole world rebuilt around seven realms with landmarks, quests and givers, the install front door, and 1,591 checked questions across science, social studies, the arts and health.

## What the game keeps

A seven-character player tag and what was answered and built under it. See [the privacy page](https://asurekha.com/explorisle/privacy?hsLang=en-gb). Any change to that is listed here first.

28 September 2026: saves, classes, gifts and notes moved to a Cloudflare database that keeps its data inside the European Union; before, Cloudflare kept copies in data centres around the world. A record not saved to for a year is now deleted (it was 400 days). In a class, the teacher now also sees each seat's player tag, the answers to the unit's questions and the *I can* ticks.
